ほし（星, star）is not another pronunciation of 地球（ちきゅう, earth）. This is one usage of furigana; the furigana (in 'Internet' form, the word in parentheses) is what the speaker says. The main word is word given to readers only in order to clarify meaning or context. In this case, the singer sings the word ほし, and by ほし she means planet Earth specifically. This is a little unintuitive because you might expect the reverse; you might think the main word is what the speaker says while the word in parentheses is a hint for readers. But it's the other way around. To conclude, the song's title is not ちきゅうのはて but ほしのはて, despite the kanji.

What's the dictionary form of 愛している? There are two answers: 愛す（あいす）and 愛する（あいする）. The te-form of verbs that ends with す is す→して, so 愛す→愛して. Similarly, the te-form of する is して, so 愛する→愛して.  愛する is also a 'suru-verb'. Suru-verb is a noun that is added with する at the end to become a verb. There's another suru-verb for 'to love' which is 恋する（こいする）. There is no such thing as 恋す. So 愛する and 恋する feel like synonyms to each other. These two kanjis for love, 愛 and 恋, also form the noun 恋愛（れんあい）which also means love.

Which is the correct one, 愛す or 愛する? It's up for debate. In some forms the results are the same, but in some forms they're different. If we look at these forms which are different, 愛す might be the more correct one. For example, in nai-form, 愛さない feels more correct than 愛しない. In potential form, 愛す becomes 愛せる which feels more correct (the potential form of 愛する is 愛できる).
