Chicken parts


鶏肉(とりにく)chicken meat. It can also be pronounced けいにく

胸肉(むねにく)breast meat

ささみ chicken fillet (read the difference between breast meat and chicken fillet here)

もも肉(ももにく)leg (both thigh and drumstick)

太もも(ふともも)thigh

ドラムスティック(どらむすてぃっく)drumstick

手羽(てば)wing

手羽元(てばもと)drumette

手羽先(てばさき)mid-joint wing + wingtip

手羽中(てばなか)mid-joint wing
