Tip: how to find out the differences between similar Japanese words

What's the difference between 思う and 考える? 通す(とおす)and 通じる(つうじる)? 見る and 見かける and 見える? 見る and 観る and 診る and 看る and 視る (all みる)?

Basically I ask Google-sensei ^^;

The keyword is 違い(ちがい)which means 'the difference'. Just type all the similar words you're interested to know the difference and put 違い at the end, e.g.,

'思う 考える 違い'
'見る 見かける 見える 違い'
'見る 観る 診る 看る 視る 違い'

The search results should point to Japanese question-and-answer sites, such as oshiete.goo.ne.jp, chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp (this is Japanese version of Yahoo! Answers) and okwave.jp. In most cases the question has been given a good answer.

Regarding Yahoo!知恵袋, 知恵袋(ちえぶくろ)means 'bag full of wisdom'. 知恵(ちえ) is wisdom while 袋(ぶくろ) is bag.
